Malfunctioning uploader??

Has anyone else got problems when trying to upload a movie?

After like 60 % it says "The page could not be found" or whatever.

What to do then =S ? Same problem if my friend tries to upload it from his computer

This often happens if you have programs that use the internet in the background, firewalls (even if it is on the ISP side and you don't know about it), and sometimes from you doing things internet related while it is trying to upload. I would suggest uploading the video sometime you know when you aren't going to be doing anything like while you are sleeping and seeing what happens.

I already tried that.. shut down ALL programs that could use the internet access, and I even turned off my firewall.... same result

There still can be a firewall on the ISP side, now that you wont be able to work around. You can still submit a mirror and we can download it for you.

I have also done that, but it's just kinda annoying to wait like 2 weeks for publishing, when it's already 2 weeks since I started trying to publish it =/ .

You can keep trying to upload, but if the problem persists that may be your only option.

Then I suggest adding a mirror and one of our movie moderators will get your video taken care of as soon as they can. I suggest a filefront mirror since our systems will automatically download it and upload it to our site.

I get that problem a lot on warcraftmovies, their uploading system sux a bit unfortunately, which is a shame coz it's extremely frustrating, I've even given up on some movies and just not bothered, which again is a pain coz I'm a paying customer, but sometimes my tech support mails don't get answered so I assume are ignored, again rude considering I'm a paying customer. Right now I'm trying to upload an 850 meg movie, it uploads for 6 hours and then I just get error page at 99%, it's driving me fucking insane now. Trying AGAIN now /sigh

Can u tell I'm pissed off with this?

Having said that it is a wonderful site so I just take the rough with the smooth, it's all we can do really. But it would be nice if you could just get the error at 1% not 99% /cry

If it fucks up again this time I'll upload the movie to filefront and mail them telling them to just download it and prey they do that for me :-/

Hi Hacky, I am sorry about the issues you have been having. :( Failing at 99% is never fun.
We actually got another upload coming (it should have been up yesterday but we want to make a few more tweaks to it), we are aiming for Tuesday. However this does not help you right now.

I will download your movie now and upload it myself if it fails for you again. We all loved your previous guide! :)

I got the .divx now. I will start uploading it now just in case. I suspect the version your are uploading might be slightly higher quality but if both manages to upload we can choose yours.

because no one is answering my thread below this one, i try it here...do you have my movie : SiC 'N' Strike III ? uploaded it 2 times but get no answer...thx! or is it important to say that "I'm pissed off".. etc?
