If Esport is what Punchline wrote, i wouldn't play world of warcraft that much anymore...

It wont I dont think.

reason being, in order for the matches to be fair, every player would have to play at the same gear level. In addition even if this was done, the game still wouldnt be balanced because of the various class imbalances today. No one would even bother picking a warrior because of how easy they get destroyed.

Now if it was based on group pvp (teams) then yea i can see it happening, but the potential for class imbalance is still there rearing its ugly head.
